I Can Only Cry.

O Lord,

I am overwhelmed by Your grace.
Who am I to get this undeserved love?
The presence of your spirit is too mighty.
It is too mighty for my eyes to bear.

So I cry...

It is all I am able to do,
When I feel your presence.

I can't speak.
I can't think.
I can't move.
I can only cry

My Lord,

Who am I?
I am just a lowly dog.
A foolish dog who only makes mistakes.
And yet, you love me?
I am overwhelmed!

I am like a newborn child.
I don't have the ability...

To speak;
To think;
To move;
To care for myself...
I can only cry.

I am a defenseless child.

Without you, Lord;
Who would protect me?
Who would love me?
Who would help me?
Who would save me?
I can only cry.

No words
No thoughts
No actions
Are able to express my gratitude.
